We had an amazing and super relaxing stay at Bokrivier Cottages! We went mid-winter, and were welcome to a pre-lit fireplace in our cottage. The space was very clean and homely, and the Wi-Fi was very good (which was amazing given we were remote working!)

The wood fired hot tub was definitely a highlight regardless of the weather, and we enjoyed walking to the dam and visiting the nearby bakery, Oumeal.

I would definitely recommend this trip as a wholesome getaway!

We had the most fantastic week at Bokrivier Cottages, staying in the Barton cottage. The patio and hot tub with breathtaking views were beyond AMAZING. The service was also top-notch. We had help whenever needed and the team went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. (Even heating up the hot tub so it was ready for us upon arrival!) The cottages had everything we needed, from towels and extra blankets (it gets quite cold at night in winter so a few warm layers were necessary) to a fully equipped kitchen and even solar and rechargeable lights for loadsheddding. As remote workers, the Wi-Fi made it a perfect staycation for my partner and I. The cottages are also dog friendly, which allowed us to bring our best friend along for the week- making it an extra special destination.

Bokrivier Cottages offers a peaceful retreat, and we can't wait to go back for another unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a rejuvenating and memorable holiday!

We had a peaceful time at Bokrivier and where able to take a good break form life's hustle and bustle. The stunning views and lovely walks on the farm are awesome. The cottage was comfortable with good quality bedlinen and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the fireplace in the chilly evenings.

Spent a long weekend with my partner and his grandson (8). The setting is magnificent. Loved the walks and the thoughtful touches - such as a braai set up at dam. The hot tub looking over the mountains was truly exquisite. Cottage well equipped, but homely. Property enclosed, which helped in keeping our dogs off the road. Will definitely go back to this relaxing, interesting and lovely place.

Wonderful time away with friends, booked a few units. Beautiful hike to the waterfall followed by an incredible evening spent on the stoep at the Western. All one could ask for and more. Would highly recommend

My family and I spent 10 glorious days at Clover. This home, away from home, has all the comforts needed for a relaxing holiday. Lovely and spacious for everyone to enjoy their own space. Early morning coffee on the porch with the resident peacock, our only neighbour making his presence known and listening to the calming sounds of the cows, not forgetting the donkey. From the porch, we spotted birds of prey clearly circling their next meal, Guinea Fowl family, a Hare clearing a fence with ease, small buck. After dark the bats made sure to say hi. One night, the beautiful star studded sky ended up being our movie night.
