What a wonderful place! We enjoyed the hot bath and the natural orchestra outside… my early bird of a daughter even spotted an Antilope in the morning! Very special. Thank you for having us.

We had such a lovely stay at the farm. What a beautiful space. Our human and fur kids loved running, climbing and watching the farm animals. We drove to the dam during our stay and had a lovely time there as well. Thank you to everyone at Bokrivier

It was an absolute treat to stay at Clover! Stunning cabin, has everything you’ll need, absolutely perfect for a multiple couples/friends/family getaway, lovely big garden to throw around a ball and braai. The Kolkol took a little time to heat up but it was well worth the wait! Bokrivier was an awesome host, highly recommend.

Bokrivier Farm is a magical place - a mixture of farm wonderland and Lord of the Rings-esque fantasy landscapes. Choctaw cottage has everything you need and more; it's cosy, comfortable and beautifully finished, you're proud to call it your temporary home. The picnic and horseriding session is highly recommended, making your stay extra special and memorable. We will be back soon to further explore the farm.

What a lovely stay we had at Bokrivier. Lovely little cottage with all the necessary amenities. Specially the veggie garden made our hearts jump higher. We enjoyed perusing the rows and rows of homegrown produce and tasting some of the wonderful veggies. The private picnic experience was also lovely and very worth it. 100% recommended! The farm is also just stunning to take long walks and just enjoy the fresh air and listen to nature. A wonderful stay - we will certainly be back!

Wow!! This is a magical place! Our experience was exactly what we were hoping to find and more! Helpful and responsive hosts with care to details. We were blown away by the breathtaking views of the mountains, clean accommodation with lovely bathroom and kitchen ample to care for all our need with amenities. The giant trees out front gave amazing shade to sit on the lawn sipping a cool drink taking in the quiet! The walks on the farm, swim in the dam and hike up the hill to the waterfall were stunning. We spent hours at the end of each day around the fireplace. We ended with the cherry on top, the horse ride was so fantastic and the loveliest people Ian and Angie took care of us! We cannot recommend this stay highly enough. This is the perfect place to pause and reset! Well done guys!

The Choctaw cottage is nicely located in front of a flourishing vegetable garden and lies separate from the other two cottages – ideal for some extra seclusion! The farm was a pleasure to explore, and we absolutely loved the picnic experience. I can't emphasise enough how it exceeded expectations! Do expect a fair bit of (well-maintained) dirt road to reach the place and regular visits from farm dogs. Overall, lovely simple and clean finishes and with a great braai setup. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape from the city. You guys have such a great place, and awesome that you've created something so wonderful over lockdown. Nice to see some good come out of the pandemic! The farm was a pleasure to explore, and we loved the picnic experience.

We really loved staying in the Choctaw cottage and being on Henrico and Kiaria's farm! The little cottage has been beautifully and comfortably done. The farm itself is fantastic, very neatly kept and a beautiful setting so near the mountains. We especially enjoyed the beautiful walks between the trees, as well as the stars on a clear night. Our daughter loved the animals, cycling along the paths and playing in the river. Highly recommended!

Such a great venue. The views and starry night sky is incredible. fittings and items in the house such as pans and crockery were really lovely. Enough wood to make several fires!
