Bring Your Own Horse
Staying at Bokrivier? You're welcome to bring your own horse and enjoy the farm and surrounding trails from the saddle.

Stable & stable camps: R1 000 per horse per day

Our paddocks are easily accessible from the cottages, making it convenient to have your horses close by throughout your stay.

3-Day Bokrivier Outrides
Escape to the mountains for 3 days and 2 nights of riding, good food and relaxed farm living.

Our organised rides are designed for experienced riders and limited to 6–9 riders, keeping the experience personal and unhurried.

Non-riding partners & friends: R2 000 per person sharing accommodation

A 50% deposit is required to secure your place.

What to Expect
Your stay includes a suitable horse and tack, private-bedroom accommodation, all meals and guided riding through Bokrivier's mountain and fynbos landscape.

Over the three days, you'll enjoy an afternoon introductory ride, a 25 km mountain ride with a brunch stop, sundowners at the dam and a final early-morning ride followed by a long-table farewell brunch.

Transport to and from Bokrivier and alcoholic beverages are excluded.

Rider Requirements
All riders will be required to sign the relevant liability documentation before riding.

EXQUISITE VENUE

Spent a long weekend with my partner and his grandson (8). The setting is magnificent. Loved the walks and the thoughtful touches - such as a braai set up at dam. The hot tub looking over the mountains was truly exquisite. Cottage well equipped, but homely. Property enclosed, which helped in keeping our dogs off the road. Will definitely go back to this relaxing, interesting and lovely place.
