Escape to the Overberg for a fully catered, 3-day horse riding experience on the renowned Bokrivier Farm. Ride through diverse terrain including fynbos landscapes, mountain trails, and indigenous forest, while enjoying comfortable cottage accommodation and warm farm hospitality.

📅 Day 1 – Arrival & Warm-Up Ride
Arrival:
Guests arrive at Bokrivier Farm from 12:00 onwards. Settle into your private cottage accommodation and prepare your horses in their designated camps.

Afternoon Ride:
We begin with a relaxed warm-up outride through the surrounding farmland and fynbos, allowing both horse and rider to ease into the terrain.

Evening:

Welcome drinks
Hearty farm-style dinner
Briefing for the days ahead

🌄 Day 2 – Full Day Ride (Mountains & Forest)
Morning:
Start the day with a farm-style breakfast, followed by a full-day guided outride into the mountains and indigenous forest areas.

Expect:

Scenic climbs with panoramic views
Flowing trails through fynbos
Shaded sections through forest terrain
Midday:

Picnic-style lunch served out on the route
Time to rest horses and enjoy the surroundings
Afternoon:
Continue the ride back to the farm via a different route, taking in more varied terrain.

Evening:

Relax at your cottage
Enjoy a quality, home-cooked dinner
Optional fireside drinks under the stars

🌿 Day 3 – Final Ride & Departure
Morning:
After breakfast, head out for a shorter scenic outride, taking in the last of the landscape and enjoying a relaxed final ride.

Late Morning / Departure:

Return to the farm
Pack up and prepare for departure by 11:00–12:00
👉 Leave refreshed, with a proper countryside reset.
